Connect Shopify Inbox

Augury will connect to your Shopify store with one approval and do two things:

1. Draft replies to Shopify Inbox chats

Messages your customers send through the Shopify Inbox chat widget land in your Augury Drafts queue with a suggested reply, alongside your email and review traffic.

2. Ground drafts in real order data

This is the part that makes store replies genuinely useful: when a customer who has ordered from you writes in, Augury can look up their recent orders — status, items, fulfillment, tracking — and use that context in the draft. "Where's my order?" gets answered with their order, not a generic template.

Order data is fetched on demand for the conversation being drafted, used for that draft, and not republished anywhere public.

What you'll need

  • A Shopify store on any paid plan, with Shopify Inbox enabled (free in the Shopify admin).
  • Store-owner access to approve the connection.

The connection will be a standard Shopify app install: approve once, pick what Augury may read (conversations, orders, customers), done.
